Did you know that 80% of online job-seekers still fall for the simple old ‘get rich quick schemes’, the kind of companies that flash high paychecks and expensive cars on their home page…

Well let me tell you the truth; There is no such thing as ‘get rich quick’ unless you’ve won the lotto. Many people who enter into the Network Marketing and MLM industry have no experience and are extremely gullible to whatever they see.

I am going to be completely honest with you now and say that you can possibly make large amounts of money using ANY of the online systems out there, but that all depends on how much time, energy, and hard work you are willing to put into it. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and joining any Network Marketing or MLM business today won’t mean that you will be driving a Ferrari or enjoying a tan on your new Yacht tomorrow.

As with any business, MLM takes a while before you break even and start to make a decent profit, It took me two years to start earning money through the businesses that I am involved with but knowing that this is passive income I am very pleased and willing to put in another 2 years (and more) to push my business to new heights.

The Internet is a gold mine, but it can also be very misleading with all the ‘glitter and bling’ covering every page, making everyone believe that ‘join today, be rich tomorrow’ is a reality. It can be, but this depends on your efforts.

Statistics also show that 95% of people who join MLM have no experience or training in any form of marketing, therefore their businesses fail within the first 6 months. It is vital for everyone who join MLM to take some time off to read and study the system before attempting to bring anyone else on-board.

Lately I’ve been really fascinated with cheap red wines, and by cheap I mean bottles under R50. I always used to think that when it comes to wine; the more expensive the wine, the higher the quality and taste. But here in South Africa that statement is not true.

I find that most of the cheaper wines actually taste much better then those expensive bottles imported from Italy. Local is Lekker!

This evening is the first time that I try the Simonsvlei Lifestyle 2008 Merlot and I rather enjoy it. I’ll definitely purchase it again and if you are a red wine drinker I would highly recommend it. This bottle only cost a mere R34.80 – Not bad for something that tastes so good.

Tasting Notes:
An unwooded, off-dry red wine. Intense colour, the nose full of ripe fruit with dark chocolate and almond overtones.

I’m working late again tonight, trying to finish off some personal deadlines and working on some new projects. My severe lack of sleep over the past few weeks has made me feel like a zombie and I’m sitting here trying my best to concentrate.

A while ago I said that I would re-design a few web blogs for free. I’ve created a mock-up for one of the sites but I’ve been so busy with other things that I haven’t had a chance to start working on any of the others yet. So those of you who are still waiting for your re-design please be patient. I promise that I will get to it as soon as I can!! After all, I still need to do my experiment.

Before I dive back into work I’ll tell you guys a bit about my personal life since I haven’t really been posting many personal things lately. As some of you may know I recently moved back to Atlasville and due to my lack of transport I haven’t been able to socialise much during the week, so this weekend I stayed over at my boyfriend’s place in Sandton and visited some friends near-by. It was awesome seeing most of my friends again and I really hope that we can hang out again next weekend! It’s really difficult being back in the East-Rand but at least it forces me to work hard at my business because there is nothing else to do. I do have a choice of socialising with the locals or watching SABC but I’d rather not do either. My business is the most important thing in my life right now and I am giving it 100% of my time and energy.

I would really like to become more active on the blogosphere as well, and perhaps even start life-casting or making YouTube videos again, but that all depends on you guys. Do you want to see more of me? If yes, what would you like to see? More personal stuff or more tech/biz related stuff? Let me know???…

I’ve saved the number as “WTF?!” on my phone and rarely pay attention to the attempts to connect with me, but this message was hilarious. Shame the poor girl must have some serious issues. What do you guys suggest I do about the situation? Shall I publish her number online and get the whole world to SMS her? She must’ve got my business number from Facebook or the Vervean Media website. Thank goodness that she doesn’t have my private line.
